Drivetrain

Your vehicle’s drivetrain is a critical component and is made up of several components, including the front differential, rear differential, automatic transmission, and transfer case. The drivetrain is thoroughly inspected at every service.

Each drivetrain component has its own type of oil and specific service intervals for changing it. These components are listed in the maintenance schedule, with each having its own date and mileage for inspection and replacement.

- Rear differential: This provides rear-wheel drive.
- Front differential: This is responsible for front-wheel drive.
- Automatic transmission: This controls the vehicle’s speed and shifting between gears.
- Transfer case: This sends drive to the rear wheels or all four wheels (4x4).

It is important to maintain these components properly to ensure the performance and safety of your vehicle. If you have any questions about drivetrain maintenance or specific components, please let us know!
