This micro switch can be mounted on one of the gas springs of your tonneau cover or hardtop. When opening the cover or the rear window of your hardtop or cargo container, the micro switch automatically switches the interior lighting on and switches the lighting off again when the cover or the rear window is closed again. Because there are different diameters of gas springs, it may be that the part where the gas spring will be placed must be cleared a little to close the micro switch.
